Les Gets is a renowned mountain biking centre and is endorsed by the French Cycling Federation. It is ideal for downhill and cross country for all abilities.
Bikes are carried up the mountain by ski-lifts avoiding much of the slog!!
Les Gets is part of the Portes du Soleil interlinked lift system, which is the largest summer lift system in the world.
This opens up more than 120 kms of marked track within Les Gets itself, as well as endless possibilities within the Portes du Soleil area.
These tracks are graded and cover all abilities from expert to easy beginner and family.
Our apartment gives direct access to the track down the Chavannes and thence to the whole circuit.
The World Cup Downhill Track on Mont Chery is 3800m long with a descent of 620m
A Free Practice Track for beginners is besides the lake just a short walk from the apartment.
